AMINOFTAL^® eye drops is an ophthalmic solution of hyaluronic acid and amino acid base.

AMINOFTAL^® single dose is a preparation consisting of an isotonic sterile ophthalmic solution with hyaluronic acid sodium salt and amino acids with no preservatives, aimed at the integration of poor tear secretion and restoration at restoration of the physiological conditions of the tear film Hyaluronic acid is a mucopolysaccharide that constitutes part of many of the tissues in the body.
It adheres to the ocular surface to offer protection, moisture and lubrication.
Its mucoadhesive properties confers long duration on the eye and stabilizes the acrimal film.
The amino acids L-proline, L-glycine, L-lysine hydrochloride and L-leucine, contained in the product, increase the lubrication of the ocular surface and may contribute to the better protection of the epithelium under stress of various kinds. The absence of preservatives in the solution helps increase the safe use of the product and make it suitable for contact lens wearers.

INDICATIONS

Tear substitute to protect the cornea, clear, sterile, viscoelastic. It protects, moistens and lubricates the eye surface by arranging a particularly long relief to disturbances caused by:

- mechanical stress: for example during and after the use of contact lenses or during surgical procedures or ophthalmic diagnosis;

- environmental stress: for example, due to air conditioning, wind, cold or polluted air, cigarette smoke;

- visual stress: for example, from extensive computer or microscope use, driving;

DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATION
Instill 1-2 drops into the conjunctival sac 2 -3 times a day or more, as needed.
