| Description |
NEXTAL® is a sterile ophthalmic solution based on hypermellose and amino acids N-IG
Hypermellose is a polymer that has the property of thickening and stabilizing the tear film on the ocular surface thus creating a protective shield that is both transparent and viscoelastic.
Sodium hydroxymethylglycinate (N-IG), contained in Nextal® is a new amino acid derivate that exerts an efficient action of conservation thanks to its antimicrobial action; and causes no harmful effects on the ocular surface.
The amino acids L-proline, L-glycine, L-chlorhydrate lysine and L-leucine, contained in the product increase lubrication of the ocular surface and can lend a hand in protecting the epitelium subject to stress of varying nature.
Nextal® protects, moistens and lubricates the ocular surface, providing lasting relief against ailments (burning, dryness, or foreign body) caused by dry eye syndrome or by irritating environmental (pollution) visual (intense use of eyesight) and mechanical (contact lenses, etc.) agents.

INDICATIONS
Hydrating and lubricating tear substitute for the treatment of ocular ailments caused by tear deficiency (dry eye syndrome), environmental, visual or mechanical stress.
MODE OF USE
Instill 1-2 drops in the conjunctival sac 2-3 times a day or more as necessary.

Instill 1-2 drops in the conjunctival sac 2-3 times a day or more as necessary. The product can be instilled into the eye even when wearing contact lenses.
